About Us
Studio Santo Sospir, or “sacred sigh,” is named after the storied Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat private retreat. Born of a lover's promise, Villa Santo Sospir was a dreamscape that became a canvas for the work of Jean Cocteau and clubhouse for some of the most important creative talents of its time. Likewise, we aspire to create otherworldly havens that evoke the senses and bring people together in a meaningful way.
Studio Santo Sospir was founded by Suzanne Karotkin formerly Experiences Manager at the Commodore Perry Estate. She blends her creative and operational know-how in hospitality with an abounding love of storytelling and brand-building gleaned over 10 years working as a fashion and lifestyle editor at magazines including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, W and InStyle.
